Cinderella on the floor
This skirt reminded me of the opulent fashion during the Elizabethan era filled with beautiful embroidery and surface ornamentation. I decided to take this photo with little light and sitting on the floor for a Cinderella feel. I always imagined Cinderella’s ball gown to be embroidered with lace and flowers with a conical bodice and passementerie trimming. The Disney version gave Cinderella a few friends in the form of mice to listen to her sing and help her dress. I don’t have little mice at home so to finish the look I added a bunny. The naughty boy was jumping around a lot and did not want to pose for the camera! I had to resort to sprinkling a circle of food around myself to get him to stay in place long enough for a quick photo.
