This weekend I was lost among a little section of the Botanical Gardens in Sydney. Somehow even in Sydney’s windy winter, all sorts of plants are still thriving there. One moment you will pass a sea of white tulips. Next moment you will wander past a giant towering cactus. Wandering among the gardens was like stepping into little microclimates. Moving from one season to another. It is amazing how well kept the gardens are.
I was wandering among the “Succulent Garden”. So many exotic plants of interesting shapes and sizes. A lot of prickly cactus plants that I had to watch out for. I decided to blend in a little with an outfit of all yellow. Standing out and standing tall in the sun. I have always associated cacti with the desert. But my surroundings was sure not a desert. It was an exotic garden full of shapes and texture.
