Feathers in the wind
There’s something about the feeling of my hair being lifted away with the breeze that makes me feel so tranquil. Maybe because it makes me feel like a light feather blowing with the wind. Or maybe because it’s a reminder that this can only happen when I am outdoors in an open space with room to breathe. Because face it, this doesn’t happen when I’m at home studying or at work in front of my spreadsheets.
These types of photos aren’t created easily though. There is a lot of filtering through the images to find the one where my face doesn’t look like it’s suffocating under my hair. And then more filtering to find the photos where I’m not squinting because dirt has blown into my eyes. But to capture that one perfect photo is all worth it.
