Parliament House Melbourne
On my trip down to Melbourne for the Fashion Festival, I had some time to visit some of Melbourne’s sites. We stopped by the Parliament House and found it to be a magnificent building of beautiful architecture. We started taking some snaps at the top of the stairs until two police officers came by and said we couldn’t take photos too close to the windows while there was a parliament meeting in session. Fair enough, we could be foreign spies dressed in disguise learning all of Melbourne’s secrets. So we moved down to the middle of the stairs and continued on.
This dress was an amazing design crafted by Warren’s friend Vladimir Barski. He gave us the background of making the dress and told us that the boldly shaped collar was made using an old coat hanger. Genius. It was a stunning backless dress that glistened in the sun during the day and glistened under the lights at night. So I guess wearing this dress did make me feel a little like a foreign spy in disguise.
