Take the plunge
A high fashion shoot underwater is a tricky task. My photographer for the day told me that the most important thing was to look like I was not underwater (even though I was). We were going for the same look, feel and style of a high fashion editorial shoot but underwater. First shot we took was one of myself falling backwards into the water. I was told that we only had one chance at getting this right, so the pressure was on for me to fall in a graceful and stylish way. As we all took our places ready for the falling shoot, I took a moment to think about all the little things I needed to do while I was falling: legs slightly bent but together, one hand on hip, one hand holding onto ponytail, face looking forward and back not too bent. I guess there was too much to remember that I dazed off and Harry my photographer asked me if I “need a push?”. I finally let go and plunged backward into the water and we got some amazing photos. Gosh it was an awesome shoot.
