Woolloomooloo: the hardest city in Sydney to spell. But a great little secret place to visit for a relaxing day. There are plenty of lovely cafes and restaurants along the wharf strip. I’ve been coming here all autumn and winter. Patio heaters line up after one another so you can sit outdoors all afternoon and image it is a summer day by the harbour.
Woolloomooloo also one of those rare sunny areas near the city where I can wear my shades and look up into the blue sky. An occassional strong breeze would pass by and my white shirt and long wide pants would flutter gently. It is a lovely area, but I am certain that I will never be able to spell it.
